Zoo Kid is the moniker of London-based 16-year-old Archy Marshall.
This young man crafts rather alluring dark, wistful and melancholic disjointed uneasy electric guitar ballads with incredibly poetic and insightful lyrics.
He and his music have been doing the rounds on a number of blogs of late, including two of my favorites Pop Goes The Radio and Nialler9. The later coining a perfect description for his music; as being “reverb “hall”-heavy electric guitar ballads which channel the drawl of Billy Bragg and the energy of Jamie T”.
