Twin Brother is the project of 19-year-old Brighton Multi-instrumentalist Alex Wells – this is neat and tidy indie-rock at its finest.
The self-produced second album Actors & Liars in particular is a captivating listen where gusto meets melancholic wistfulness in equal measure. His powerful deep, dark brogue really hammers home the lyrics.
There’s shades of The Strokes and The Rakes here but enough chattering, give the tunes below a spin. Both are taken from the new album Actors & Liars.
For any of our friends across the pond he’s got two dates coming up in London; The Dublin Castle on January 26th & The Bowery on February 25th.
