Manor – ‘Can You Hear Me Talking At You’

Melbourne duo, Manor, have been making music for quite a while now. With a string of singles to their name already but we’ve not heard from them since the release of the wonderful ‘Architecture’, in 2013.

The duo of Caitlin Duff and Nathaniel Morse have emerged from this period of quiet, sharing news of a forthcoming debut EP and revealing a first taste into the bargain. Entitled ‘Can You Hear Me Talking At You’, it is a rich blend psychedelic sounds and classically-tinged alt-pop. A fuzzy riff filled five minutes, with hypnotic drums and deep groove, complimented by Duff’s beautifully hazy and enchanting, layered vocals, which are are cast in a shifting series of settings, with beguiling results. An utterly intoxicating and all consuming return from Manor.

The EP will be available sometime in August. In the meantime, treat you ears to the magnificent sounds of  ‘Can You Hear Me Talking At You’.
