Laughed The Boy are Toronto-based indie trio comprised of brothers Chris and Sean Panacci and Brennan Hrehoruk.

Laughed The Boy began life as a vehicle for Chris Panacci to explore a love of unpretentious 90’s nostalgia. His brother Sean was quickly recruited before hitting the studio with the final piece of the puzzle set in place with the addition of bassist Brennan Hrehoruk. The result of the trio’s early endeavours was their debut LP Here is Fine; littered with easy going tunes filled with catchy melodies and fuzzy guitars, it came out in February of last year.

Laughed the Boy have kicked off what looks set to be a busy year of touring and recording a second album, with new single ‘Halfway’. The single takes the band’s signature blend of catchy melodies and fuzzy guitar, swirls it together with jangly guitar hooks and breezy vocal harmonies for an infectious blend of loose, laidback, pop-leaning slackerish indie.

You can listen to new single ‘Halfway’ and ‘Indifferent’ (a taster from their debut LP) below; with the album itself, right here.
