Nødstop are Austrian pair The Unused Word (Anna Schauberger) and Testa (Lukas Ljubanovic), stalwarts of their local hip hop and electronica scenes, they joined forces in December 2017.

With no set plan, the pair began working on tracks together and the collaboration has born its first fruits with the debut seven track EP “Ø” in April of this year. Leading the charge is single ‘Test Me’. Slick, snappy beats and infectious groove converge with some dubby tones, trip hop textures and eerie early Skream-esque subterranean vibes to form an irresistible wonky skank that trundles, urged along by big, rich and bobbing basslines. ‘Test Me’ is a spectral bass heavy and other-worldly electronic excursion graced by Schauberger’s distinctive vocals and Testa’s stylish yet gritty production – a phenomenal track.
