This wonderful new track from Washed Out was a pleasant interruption to the blogosphere, especially on a lazy Bank holiday Monday.
The flurry of activity which followed saw the track spread like wild-fire across the web, hardly an excuse not to give it a mention. ‘Eyes Be Closed’ is a five-minute lusciously serene and evocative reverb synth tune. It is the opening track from the forthcoming album Within and Without due out in July.
It all sounds very promising indeed.
