This time next week I shall hopefully be looking forward to some Friday night 8-bit chip blazin’ delights with the return Gamepak to The Mezz in The Twisted Pepper.

Next weekend will be busy around these parts and with time and cash at a premium it may be difficult but as a sucker for 8bit electro, most likely down to a miss spent youth playing computer games. I’ll do my utmost to pop along to this. Amongst other reasons it’s another opportunity to catch recently featured (here) barrygruff favourite Skp. The Belfast lad stole the show on his last visit to The Twisted Pepper and this time around is accompanied by another friend from up North, Chipzel who takes the relatively short trip down from the Maiden City when compared to the journey headliner Adamgetsawesome has to make from New York.

Meanwhile, Gamepak ‘s very own Robin and DJ C60Force along with chip-visualist iNFOTOXIN will be doing their thing.

It should be a great night and well worth heading down with only one caveat, to the best of my knowledge The Mezz is a bit small but on the bright side the excellent DJ Tu-Ki is on in ‘The Stage’ if you’re feelin’ a wee bit claustrophobic.
